To Moruya

It seemed like time for another club trip down to Moruya, so we decided that Australia Day 2007 would be the perfect time for a nice swim down south.

The weather report for the day was lowish cloud at various points and strong headwinds for the return trip. Cloud on ground at Mittagong before 9am. Still we had 5 planes ready to leave Friday morning.

We departed around 10am and flew below the cloud until Mittagong where it cleared.

The trip was pretty uneventful but as we got closer to Moruya we could see the cloud build up along the coast.

We descended to Moruya and found the airstrip without much hassle.
