The Club was formed by flying enthusiasts to share the joys of flying with fellow aviators inexpensively. The dilemma of purchasing an aircraft before having on different types before deciding which to buy is now solved. We train in the Hughes Lightwing two seater, a widely regarded aircraft type which has proven to be an excellent trainer. Other aircraft are available from time to time to suitably endorsed pilots.

The Club also provides and opportunity for ultralight owners to fly with others and participate in organised competitions, fly-always to other clubs and other social events.
